Job Description

The purpose of the Configuration Analyst role is to review the different options within any software product and determine the best way to modify the software to meet user needs. This includes monitoring and troubleshooting when necessary, of the product. Typically, the analyst works closely with the onshore team of Implementation Consultants.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Work with onshore Implementation Consultants to configure client software in accordance with project deliverables and user requirements
  • ● Monitor and troubleshoot common and daily tasks and events as well as changes
  • ● Write internal knowledge base and customer service materials.
  • ● Reproduce, test, resolve and document software bugs, defects and problems
  • ● Examine and evaluate current systems to identify needed updates or adjustments to the system.
  • ● Validate changes by testing programs.
  • ● Train users on the new operation systems and provide support.
  • ● Stay up to date with current technologies and technical developments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s IT degree or higher in a relevant field
  • ● Experience with software configuration role
  • ● Experience with Atlassian Suite
  • ● Experience in Oracle/EAP/SAP
  • ● Background in Web development is an advantage
  • ● With good English communication skills
  • ● Candidate must be willing to work in UCT or CET time zones.
