Job Description

We are looking for a Project Estimator who will be working with a team and will report directly to the Project Consultants. You will be assisting with creating pre-contract quotations to specified deadlines. You will be preparing quotations based of door schedules and elevations on a project. These are detailed documents that need to be prepared within the specified number of working days set out by the project consultant/sales executive.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Preparing pre-contract quotations:

  • ● Reading door schedules and elevations to qualify the relevant doors that need to be quoted
  • ● Entering dimensions into a pricing tool in order to provide an accurate price and description
  • ● Liaising with several suppliers to provide quotations to ourselves.
  • ● Converting supplier quotes to the company’s standard quotes
  • ● Inputting codes into Excel format to be uploaded onto the CRM system.
  • ● Use of CRM system to generate quotations in a presentable format

Maintaining CRM

  • ● Entering names/companies onto the CRM
  • ● Checking social media, such as LinkedIn for job titles/spellings of names
  • ● Creating opportunities on the CRM
  • ● Creating tasks on CRM for Specification executives

Other administrative tasks

  • ● Reading company reports to accurately describe/forecast on business sales/expenditure.


  • ● Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and other general programs. Ideally previous experience in a role including the following;
    • – Microsoft office suite
    • – CAD experience – Autodesk preferably
    • – Exemplary organizational skills
    • – Ideally in the construction or related sector with similar projects-based organizations.
  • ● Technical ability and understanding is very key
  • ● High level attention to detail
  • ● Accuracy
  • ● Eye for high class presentation and getting things right.
  • ● Self-motivated and solution-orientated.
  • ● Awareness of time and task management as well as appreciation of time-sensitive delivery
  • ● Exemplary verbal and written English is essential
  • ● Where possible, hours should mirror standard UK working hours.
  • ● Able to work independently of the team but maintain appropriate levels of communication.
  • ● Exceptional organization skills
  • ● Ability to multi-task and co-ordinate several projects simultaneously
  • ● Capacity to use and become proficient at relevant software (e.g. Autodesk) if required
