Job Description

The Technical Assistant we are looking for will help the technical team source products such as pumps, pipework, fittings and control specified by other team members. Primarily for multi-faceted projects but also including single line items as required. 

Technical assistant is a varied role, and tasks can differ day to day. Flexibility will be required in the role with an open-minded approach. 

Daily responsibilities: 

  • ● Working closely within the team to source requested products to be able to quote our customers for mid – large scale projects as well as single ‘one off’ requests
  • ● Data input & verification to databases using programmes such as Microsoft Excel and OrderWise
  • ● Using internal systems such as Hubspot and SharePoint for record keeping
  • ● Calling U.K. based and overseas suppliers for rapid quotations
  • ● Emailing and keeping track of multiple RFQs with various suppliers simultaneously
  • ● Communication and expectation management within the team for ETAs of complete pricing
