Job Description
What staff will be doing initially:
- ●Assisting in freight invoice checking against freight quotes/rates provided.
● Follow up with suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure Purchase Orders move swiftly.
● Obtain freight quotes and negotiate where required.
● Monitor and track shipments
● Advise currency requirements.
● Prepare Purchase Orders
● Data updates and price list updates as required.
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- ●Able to use Excel, Word, Outlook, and good at learning new systems.
● Preferably Business analytics, cost accounting, and financial knowledge.
Essential skills and requirements:
- ●Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Purchasing/Procurement or a related field
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with stakeholders
● Demonstrates A+ professional qualities, including positive energy, confidence, and a proactive attitude
● Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a positive and supportive working environment
