Job Summary

The Senior Lead Generation Executive (SLG) role forms an essential part of the Unisort Sales Academy and provides the structured development pathway between Lead Generator and
Business Development Manager (BDM). The SLG continues to focus on outbound appointment generation while building advanced commercial skills through training, BDM shadowing,
competency development, and early-stage opportunity management. This role is designed to reduce the pressure of the jump into BDM, increase promotion success, and support Unisort’s
long-term growth strategy.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • ●Deliver high volumes of qualified appointments through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • ●Target decision-makers across Facilities Management, Waste Management, QSR/Retail,
    ●Corporate, Education, and Industrial sectors.
  • ●Conduct deeper initial discovery to understand pains, drivers, timelines, and potential fit.
  • ●Prepare prospects thoroughly before BDM engagement and document context in the CRM.
  • ●Shadow BDMs regularly in Teams and F2F meetings to learn surveys, trials, and solution presentations.
  • ●Own a small early-stage pipeline of opportunities and manage follow-up activity until BDM handover.
  • ●Maintain accurate CRM records, tasks, and next steps at all times.
  • ●Mentor new Lead Generators, lead role plays, and share best practices within the team.
  • ●Support campaigns, trade shows, and wider sales and marketing initiatives as required.
  • ●Attend daily huddles, weekly 1–2–1s, and monthly sales meetings.

Requirements

  • ●Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Lead Generation role with consistent performance.
  • ●Track record of achieving or exceeding appointment and activity targets.
  • ●Excellent communication and questioning skills with a confident telephone manner.
  • ●Ability to research and target senior stakeholders in key sectors.
  • ●Strong organisational skills, time management, and CRM discipline.
  • ●Coachable, resilient, proactive, and committed to personal development.
  • ●Positively contributes to team culture, role plays, and continuous improvement.

KPI’s

  • ●50–60 completed, qualified appointments per month (bonus-linked).
  • ●Consistent outbound activity across phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • ●Completion of planned BDM shadowing sessions (Teams and F2F).
  • ●Evidence of deeper initial discovery and qualification before BDM handover.
  • ●Management of a small early-stage pipeline (3–5 opportunities).
  • ●Positive feedback from BDMs on lead quality and professionalism.
  • ●Active contribution to team meetings, role plays, and mentoring of new team members.
