Job Description

The Sales Support will help underpin our continued success by providing administrative support to the sales team. This is a key role in an exciting part of the business; your work will help to achieve sales results and drive our continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • ●Generate new leads and feed through to the sales team for verification
    ●Assist in creating new records for verified leads, and ensure they have all the information and resources they need – organise and send this to them – includes catalogues, online access, etc
    ●Manage sales email and SMS inbox, allocating to the sales team to ensure customers’ questions and needs are met
    ●Process quotes for customers, ensuring correct cost and margins are applied
    ●Process customer invoices and credits via e-mail
    ●Following up on open customer quotes
    ●Set-up of customer pricing files
    ●Liaise with customers to help resolve queries
    ●Upkeep of customer and sales data in Office 365 Dynamics Finance and Operations
    ●Take minutes and action items from the weekly Sales Meeting and any other meetings
    ●Make appointments and book travel arrangements for the Sales team
    ●Maintain records and give regular updates to sales and customer service teams on any sales campaigns
    ●Follow up on outstanding customer orders with suppliers, logistics, and warehouse
    ●Request freight pickups and follow up on late deliveries with freight companies
    ●Work with customers to set up online ordering and manage web chats

Knowledge, Experience, and Expertise

Essential

  • ●Demonstrable experience in administrative and/or sales support role(s)
    ●Experience working in busy high-volume roles
    ●Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Desirable

  • ●Working knowledge and experience using Dynamics 365
    ●Previous exposure to a sales environment would be highly regarded

Qualification

  • ●A qualification in a business-related field (Desirable)
